Need someone to make an adaptor plate

Guys can anyone suggest a good machinist??

I need a custom aluminium block made to fit the FT focuser onto the SW 12" tube.
The existing focuser hole diameter & attaching bolt hole positions are considerably different to the std FT design. I need an aluminium block made that will bolt onto the tube & accept the FT base plate.

Will need to be cut from a solid block of aluminium.

Can anyone suggest where I can get this done?

Cheers, B

What are the hole spacings for the tube B? You will be able to buy a ready made F/T curved base from Starlight.

No can do Gary.
I sent all of the exact scope details to Wayne & he responed with their FT base plate dimensions. To be honest I was a little disapointed with this last interaction with Starlight. All purchases in the past have been exceptional service, but this last one was lacking.
I got the feeling that I was expected to know their products intimately & it was up to me to tell them what I wanted, rather than them advising which of their products would best suit my purpose.

The timing was a drawback as well. I've been sending emails to Starlight since Dec 2010 asking for info. I received no response at all. In mid feb this yr I asked a mate in the US to call them & ask if my emails were being received.
After he called I received a response to one of my emails from Wayne, so they obviously had not gone astray.

The package has arrived, but short of 2 items which I've been charged for.

So overall, this particuar purchase has been a disapointing experience. But it would not stop me purchasing from Starlight again. I just need to be more prepared next time.
