Astro Mount

Image of mount for sale.
The black steel 'hat' shown in image that sit on top of a post I am keeping for my new EQ6Pro mount.
The 'eye' pictured under the mount was attached to the top of the 'hat', and bolted onto the bottom of the mount. and the long bolt on the left was welded onto the side of the 'hat'. It is the adjustment of DEC.

Your mount looks like it is basically theone the old Meade 16 / 16SF Newt came on. Is this correct?

Sorry I was a bit short Bernard. I thought you were someone else.
I don't know about the Meade. I do know this mount was sold my Astro Optic's in Crows Nest, Sydney, no longer in business, and manufactured by MR Hall in Queensland. One model after the Astro mount was called the Samson. If I spelled it correctly.
