astronomic hotels

Hi,

An Ex colleague of mine, who's on a trip around the world stayed at an "astronomic hotel", one of 7 in the world where the hotel rooms are basically domes, fully furnished and the roof opens so you sleep under the stars.
this one was in chile.

scroll through to the middle of the page to see pics

this is the official hotel's website

pretty neat idea, me thinks :-)

At least in Africa they are honest enough to call them tented lodges, but even that is stretching things a bit.

A hotel? Looks like a tent to me!

Cheers,
Jason.

Maybe a little was 'lost in translation'.
Looks like a great place. I've always wanted to see Chile.
Could be our next holiday.
