SPSP Sydney-Wiruna car share request

Hi,

A friend of mine who lives in Sydney would like to join us at SPSP but does not have a car.

We're driving up from Melbourne and I was wondering if anyone driving solo from Sydney on Friday and coming back on Sunday would like to share the drive and the cost of petrol with him? He has no telescope and minimal luggage.

i thought we were leaving sunday midday?

Sorry - my bad, it should have read "coming back on Sunday"

No, not yet.
My friend has registered and started looking at public transport and we would pick him up at Ilford but it would be much better if he could get a lift from Sydney. He is re-starting his interest in Astronomy (having ground a mirror at school) and has not got a scope yet.
