hi Fringe_Dweller,

On behalf of the Quasar Team, thank you so much for pointing this out! It is a complete surprise! When it comes to bookshops the book goes through a distributor so, except for seeing it in the odd bookshop, we really have no idea who sells them (like when we were surprised to see it in Big W).

The Astro. Society of SA have supported us for many years and we appreciate that. Now I would like to add the rest of Adelaide's population to this thanks.

Regards

Glenn D

Congrats Glenn and your crew.

Like DP... I had no idea who you are but I am very much aware of your fine publication.

That's a very well deserved result.

Glenn et al - great job. I bought your book in Brissy the other day - and you will pleased to know that the salesperson in Angus & Robertson told me yours was the most shop-lifted book in the past month!

Well done Glen and Quasar Publications. I must admit I have only bought two of those books, very slack. But those two I bought gave me a life time of knowledge Well at least for two years...

Keep up the great work....

Seems like a long time since I have seen an astronomy related book in any general bestseller list (not that i keep that good an eye on them) I would have to go back to Stephen Hawking's book for that maybe but especially not an observational book
heres a scan of formentioned bestseller list -
