QHY8 drivers just won't cooperate

Here's an odd bit of behaviour. I've been using QHY8s for a couple of years so I know how problematic it has been in the past getting and loading just the right drivers. This game seems to have gone to a new level lately.
I just upgraded to nebulosity 2.4 (previously using 1.6) and downloaded the latest drivers from the CCD Labs site.
But the QHY8 on the camara list in Nebulosity insists that it is a QHY8 Pro and insists on downloading images in a very coarse monochrome. Switching back to another laptop with the old drivers and old Nebulosity operates as it should. So what's the magic with the new drivers and/or the new Nebulosity. Anyone else encountered this?

Sounds like it is downloading in focus mode, not imaging mode.

I run Nebulosity v 2.3.7 and find it quite stable. I've just checked and both the QHY8 and QHY8pro are listed on this version. Try downloading this one, hopefully it will connect ok

Using the same Nebulosity as Geoff and have not upgrade to the latest. Have no problems with either the asom or other set of qhy8 drivers.
