Astroplanner Software

Many people here using Astroplanner? http://www.ilangainc.com/astroplanner/

I have just started using it and I think it's awesome, especially considering the USD20 price tag. It includes something like 150 catalogs (1.4GB if you download all of them!)

I have just created my first observing list (Globular Clusters) using it and downloaded it to the Argo Navis user catalog.. very nice AN support but even if you don't have AN (or other supported DSC, GOTO scope or planetarium program) it's a really nice program for finding out all the best objects that will be visible from your location with your telescope on a given night - you can even fully define your horizon so it really knows what you can see.

I found the interface was a bit daunting at first (so many features) but the manual is very good. recommended FWIW.
