I thought it was going to be bad news judging by the title

Looks like it will be good once it's finished though!

Thumbs up

That is great news Geoff!
but, you know,
It is only of late, since been arriving before sunset, that I have noticed how in need of a face lift the old clubhouse really is.

...This should bring the crowds back ...

here are pdf's of the plans

and a little more info from Justine

"The building is going in the same place but is being squared up to the road a bit and the toilets are joined on to the back. I have attached the plans for you to have a look at.

I will try to keep you updated. At this stage we are moving everything into a container tomorrow and demolishing on Thursday. Not sure when building will begin."

Maybe the elusive 'Horsehead' may get unearthed during the demolition?

Nice thought, but ...
Concrete holds heat and creates thermal currents.
Much better for us is the natural ground cover, (avoiding the horsie poo)

Best get some piers up there soon, so that they can be dropped in ...

Can we ask for an external power outlet ?
On the side of the building is fine, closest to the observing field?
