Orion's Belt & Sword: mosaic in H-alpha

Hi all,

this is a photomosaic consisting in 17 shots that show the
central part of the constellation of Orion.

Each shot is composed of 9 frames, each frame was exposed
for 1800 seconds.
The total time exposure of all frames is 76.5 hours.

To complete the mosaic have been expected four months,
because the weather was good.

The mosaic measures approximately: 9° x 8° (6464x5860 pixels)
and was completed in 21 good nights.

The equipment is Telephoto Nikkor 300mm f/2,8 @ f/4;
CCD: SBIG ST-10XME with H-alpha filter.

The location is my balcony observatory in Rome:

Thank you very much!
I'm happy to be in IceInSpace!

Houghy,
To make the maps I use the software CAD.
Best regards,
