Orion’s Shorty-Plus 2x Barlow offers premium, made in Japan optical quality and doubles the magnifying power of any 1.25” fitting eyepiece. Its small size and light weight - just 75mm long and 115 grams - makes it more convenient to use than longer Barlows, especially in telescopes equipped with a diagonal, such as refractors and Schmidt-Cassegrains and also in smaller telescopes.
The Shorty-Plus features an air-spaced, three-element apochromatic optical design of 27mm clear aperture, for superior image sharpness and color correction and has fully multi-coated optics for maximum light transmission. The anodised aluminum housing accepts 1.25" eyepieces or diagonals and has a thumbscrew lock to keep the eyepiece securely in place.
This Shorty-Plus Barlow is in excellent condition, complete with top and bottom caps as shown in the photos, plus a secure plastic bolt case for safe storage and handling (not shown).
