Jen,
When London Bridge fell down, some tourists had just walked out over it and were stranded on the remaining piece.
They had to be picked up by helicopter.
A narrowly averted tradgedy!
Nice photo.

Congratulations Gary, you're our winner this month with your wonderful shot of the covered Japanese bridge in Hoi An, Vietnam.
Good round everyone, interesting to see all the various takes on the theme.
Well done also to Steve (kinetic), Al (sheeny) and Jen (Jen).
Gary you get to choose this month's theme.

Very nice Gary. Definitely a Bridge of Old. The Japanese certainly got around.

I'm not sure if it is an urban legend, but it is said that a couple who were stranded out there, were identified as married... but not to each other. Story is that their respective spouses spotted them in the resulting media circus.

Thanks Baz! That's appreciated.
I am hoping that you will again be contributing a photo this month and
I certainly look forward to seeing it. Hope the topic will get you thinking.
My hope was that it would be inclusive enough that people will be able to
still find a suitable interesting subject to photograph no matter where they
live in Australia or the world.
Best regards
Gary
