Saturn storm

EQ6, SPX350 F29.9, Flea3, 5xPowermate, Astrodon filters.

My first capture of Saturn caught the storm with good seeing at 10meter fl, seeing seemed to get better the higher it rose.

r rgb.

Thanks, John.

Excellent image John. That storm looks like a very complex system now.

Thanks guys, seem to be having a run of clear nights with good seeing here in Brisbane, got another good image last night with more good seeing - this image was taken about 4.15am EST at 65deg alt on 24th. I am glad the stor was on show, it stretches quite a distance, nights are still breezy but wind behaved when I moved to Saturn.

The SPX is a range of Newtonians by OrionOptics made to a high standard and is a great all round scope shipped to Oz when we emigrated back in April.

John.
