Stargate Universe

Does anyone know how many episodes were aired on Ch 10 before it was axed? Dont think it was very many .... ? 4/6/8?
It is on tonight on 11 at 8.30, but wondered how many I have already seen?

How could Ch10 put something like Stargate Universe on when the most intelligent shows they could manage to put on air are puerile rubbish like Rove and those ridiculous trash reality shows. It's too high brow for them and the station's demographic

I think the one tonight, where they go to a desert planet looking for something vital, was the last one shown on 10. At least it was the last one I saw.

Aah, saw the previews and thought it was the first in the series, but very commonly wrong when comes to TV shows.

Hi Liz, CH10 canned it after three weeks.
Here's a link to wiki regarding the episodes.
I hope for a third season even though they said it wont happen!

Wash your mouth out this is Stargate we are talking about

Well maybe it is.... just a bit.

From memory the Desert episode was the one immediately following the first episode. That would make it the second episode. See how quick I am. They were looking for Calcium Carbonate to repair the air purifiers. Can't help after that. Its the only two i saw.

Oh, man... It started being real good after the first season!!! Its crap how they canned it too soon.. just like how they canned Quantum Leap, Babylon 5, and Firefly.... They never let good scifi run, only "reality tv shows" and soup operas

What do you expect, they're catering to their demographic which has this obsession with mindless voyeurism and puerile trash. Brainless.

It did improve a bit before it was axed but I read that is was axed due to the MGM Financial debacle

Excellent, the breaks that Stargate Universe has had over it's time have been way to long by any standard break.

It was on (the new) channel 11 last night, so I would think they would go through quite a few episodes.
It was followed by the first episode of Star Trek - TNG

Download then BUY IT!

I hate to say it and I do not promote it but this is a show that you need to download a internet archive version of the show...

Cause not every person on the planet watches it most channels dont bother playing more then 3-4 eps when you do watch it you get all their stupid adds about whatever carp they are advertising for tommorow etc.... you also watch an episode then its canned the next even if its a "to be continued"

Save youself a headache and just download it. good shows unfortunatly get trashed by bloody carp tv channels.. Of course after downloading and watching (just the same as recording it from tv) buy the dvd's and support the show. this is important to do else there will be no more good shows and just mindless junk instead.
