Car help please
Hi all,
I have been trying to figure this out for days and I know someone here will have the answer
How do you change the small blinker on the right side panel just in front of the door in a 99 camry. I can't see how by looking?
Thanks in advance
Warren

Hi Warren,
It has plastic clip. What you have to do is to push it sideways and see which way it wants to slide, either left or right. And then hold it in that position with one hand and use small screw driver and pray it away till it pops out.
hope this helps

Warren I would'nt bother as long as your main blinkers work, I tried replacing a the light in the auto gear lever display centre console and stuffed up the display panel and stil did'nt find how to replace the light, I should have left well enough alone

Thanks Trevor I had a little go at bobson's answer and it doesn't seem to want to move any way I will have a more scientific try soon when I have my courage up but I will not force it to much.

Hi Warren
The earlier camry was the same. I found out how to do it OK but I have forgotten since the last time I changed one was 10 years ago. I am pretty sure what bobson says is the answer however.

Hi Warren
1. Using a flat bladed screwdriver inserted between the rubber seal and the lamp at one end of the lamp assembly, carefully prise the lamp from the mudguard
2.Rotate the bulb holder in an anticlockwise direction and remove the bulb hollder.

Thanks Barry I like to have good info when I am doing this stuff as I don't want to do more harm than good. Now with computers I just learn by doing but when you only have one car it is a bit more daunting

Warren,
The car is over 10 years old and plastic clip is brittle and even with great care you will probably brake it. So prepare some silicon to hold it in place just in case
cheers
