Deep in the Trap are the colours pushed 2 far?

Hi all,
2010 was a shocker for clear skies but I finally managed this one.
My first image for 2010 from my Windeyer (Mudgee) property on 30/12/10.

I processed the first attached image to the Hubble pallet also attached.
I am not a fan of this pallet as I think the colour saturations are pushed way too far. The detail however is very good.

I Like the more natural look, "dark and sinister".
Not as much detail but a better look in my humble opinion.
What do you think?

20x30sec (10 minutes) Exposure. (Size does matter).
Celestron GPS11, f3.3 focal reducer, Meade DSI color camera, Guided with Orion Auto Guider vis my Celestron Finder scope.

Regards
Gerry Aarts

A combination of the 2 would be interesting.
I prefer the 'dark and sinister', but it might be nice to combine a bit of the 'Bright and happy' just to give it a lift.

Nice work Gerry.
