Filament from November

Just had a go at reprocessing this (eruptive)filament from November still working on it.However I noticed it while having a quick look through my Ha scope so setting up my imaging setup I basically saw it develop into what I captured here then basically fade away over the next hour or so.I would appreciate any comment on what exactly this occurrence is and if anyone else captured it.November 7 @ about 1pm EST(Australia)2010

Hi Derek
I remember this from your November post.
I have been looking at the sun thru Ha for 5 years and I have never seen anything like this - it is so defined. I imaged on this day but my images do not help as I think I was looking at different areas!

An extremely interesting capture!

Thanks for the reply Matt I've scanned a few other forums but nothing has come up.However when looking at your pics that active region looks very similar to what I observed before witnessing the so called eruptive prominence. If one thing has come of this I will have to be more serious about the suns orientation. As a newcomer to all this I am just realizing the importance of this especially for referencing.
