Eta Carina

Took this image over two years ago (may be closer to three!)

Such is the lack of chance to image in QLD these last few years!

This was taken with my long gone 300D,I am hoping my newer 450D and 50D

may bring better results,this is a 77sec exp,iso 1600-so there is some noise,unguided.

Hope this may be of interest,

Cheers Chris

The Keyhole looks fabulous Chris.
Here's hoping for some clear skies so we can get something new to work with eh.

re carina

Thanks Colin and jjj.

Yes,it will be great to have clear skies again,I think January through till June,is one of my favourite times of the night sky.

I will be getting a newer mount very shortly, which will be able to cope with extra weight of 50D and other bits, and its very well machined compared to the current mount,So hopefully my next images of eta may be better.

Chris
