A little Sun this morning - been a while!

Hi all - Happy NY!

It was the 13 November when I last imaged the Sun - weather and commitments - but I did get out this morning.
The session started well - three good regions - steady skies and coffee - but alas......clouds cut short the session.......
I managed to capture Active Regions 1140, 1141 and 1142.

AR 1140 with inverted image

Lunt60 Ha / DMK31 / 2.5 Powermate / Registax 5.

I hoped the session was longer but some Sun is better than none at all.......maybe again tomorrow.....I do not go back to work until Thursday

Lovely to see, Matt!

I'm a little hamstrung entertaining visitors and relos for the time being so completely missed any opportunities that might have arisen today.

All 3 areas you've captured look interesting.

Al.

Great shots Matt I could see those regions in white light using a Lunt wedge and a 100mm APO.Unfortunately my Ha scope came with to much internal dust so although I can see them live on screen I don't have much luck imaging them. I did however get a nice Prominence but my live screen view is still better than my post.Just down the coast here the clouds held out all arvo but the wind picked up .Hope you enjoy the pics

Good work Derek - I do enjoy your prom images. Thanks for sharing what I did not see today!
