Abell Cluster in Hydra

A quick test set tonight of the Abell 1060 galaxy cluster in Hydra.
This set was to see exactly how deep the DSI II / 12" Newt combo
would go. Not a serious attempt, seeing was terrible.
Elevation was 28-35 deg only. Cooling was at 10c but the first
set suffered fogging as the dewpoint reached 10C too!
Second set (the NGC3314 result) was at 19C ambient.

Very nice image I wish I could take a photo like that one, it's amazing to see galaxies grouped, you lose all sense of scale.

Nice Steve. This area is rich in little fuzzies and you could spend a life time at this focal length putting them all together in a big mosaic.

Well done mate.
