I tried to play for a bit and had some wonderful clear patches but they were interrupted fairly often by scudding low cloud. It is rather humid out there as well. Found my battery charger for the Nikon though so night wasnt a complete waste. Hope you did better than that. The few looks i got at Saturn, Orion etc. were enough to whet the appetite.

patchycloudus interuptus all night. Pull up pegs around midnight. It was nice to just be out there even though a 30sec HH was all that could be imaged.

Given the amount of clouds I had to revise my initial planning of 20 min Halpha subs of Thors Helmet to 8 second subs. I think I managed to get about 2 of these but have not stacked or processed yet. LOL. It was still a great night. Thanks Paul.

I know i have a 30sec 2xbinning Ha Horsie here somewhere It was great to catch up Mark. We might get that setup time under 2 hours next time
