A little late I know but here are a couple of shots from the lunar eclipse just before Christmas. I drove to Currumbin beach after work and watched the moon rise over the ocean along with quite a few other people. My first lunar eclipse, it was breathtaking

took to long to get above the high hill in the east

Hi Ron, that's a shame you didn't get to see much of the eclipse. I decided early on in the piece to make the long trip to Currumbin on a work night and I'm certainly glad I did.
