Tarantula in Hubble palette colour

Hi to all

I managed to get some OIII and SII data so I've now produced a Hubble palette version. I'm never quite sure about this thing in narrowband because it can look like a dog's breakfast but here it is anyway. I also used star spikes pro to hopefully enhance the stars. I did intend to get even more data but the seiing suddenly turned to cr*p so I thought I would stop there.

Cheers

Steve

Hey what do ya know, you captured an OC at the heart... Nicely captured, I like the detail in the neb and the amount of hidden stars you were able to dissect out of the spider. Star colours are a bit rough on the eye's but overall it's a great combination... and it's good to see the OC too.

Looks really good Steve. It's a busy area with whisps going everywhere. I like the spikes they highlight the image very well. I must have a look at this bit of software. Looks interesting.

Very nice as always.

Terrific image Steve, I love the detail and the way you have processed it. It's great to see something a bit different.

Thanks for the comments guys. Craig, the subs were 20 minutes each. Dave, I appreciate your comments about the spikes. Actually I rarely use them. I just thought they might look good in this image.

Cheers

A fine Tarantula Steve , quite a bit of detail visible and very solid looking, feels like I can reach in and grab hold of one of those tendrils, great job.

Not sure about the added spikes though, they look a bit too sharp compared to the rest of the image...?

Thanks Mike. Yeah I'm not convinced either. I just thought I would give them a try given that I paid good money for the software. There is provision to adjust the spike sharpness and perhaps that's what I should be doing.

Cheers
