Powerpoint question

Hi Peoples,
I'm not to savvy with Powerpoint, but know the basics.
I would like to make a ppt for work, but cant seem to find any concrete help from google.
What I'm trying to achieve is to put an already existing slideshow within a frame that shows constant info ( that changes daily).
please see the attached pic.
So on the right hand side, there is a list of conference rooms being used and a weather report at the bottom. This remains the same and only gets changed at the end of the day. The left hand side has info on the resorts facilities and special events ( that can change every once in a while)

Could somebody point me in the right direction?
I have tried the embed object option ( using the ppt as the file) but each time I click on it, it goes to full screen and blocks out the RHS info. Tried adjusting resolution etc but no go.

Any help appreciated!!!!!
Bartman

excuse the poor but quick pic of what I would like it to look like.

Create a template that wont change from screen to screen, only the Text will change from screen to screen. as for embedding another powerpoint into a powerpoint...not so sure about that one...

Thanks Josh,
Thats what I want. A template with stuff that wont change, but a seperate window that shows the slide show on/in the template.
The option of having that template on each slide would be to labourious, as we have to add the info to each slide.
Can I do an excel sheet with the info ( rooms and weather) and link them to each slide ( like you can do in excel)?
cheers
Bartman
