Eclipse over Brisbane

Shot of the lunar eclipse over Brisbane from the Denmark Hill lookout in Ipswich. Clouds blocked the view near the horizon.

Great capture there, although do you live in a smoggy zone, looks heavily polluted area.

Nice shots. Wish the clouds up here would have cleared. I envy you.

Great shot with the city in the foreground Brendan! I was hoping to get something similar but that cloud band interferred.

Cheers,
Stephen

Well done Brendan, like the shot.

We went up to Mt Coot-tha (Paul was up from Canberra). I got some reasonable shots but didn't try for widefield. Apparantly got my mug on the 9 News... haven't seen it myself, could be a bit frightening .

Tony

I did see you the news. Was suprised that there wasn't a MA15+ warning before they showed your face

I got enough narrow field shots, so I thought I give a wide field a go, especially as the moon was rising. Would have loved to get the shot with the moon rising amongst the Brisbane CBD buildings.
