Need help setting up my system properly

Hi guys and gals, i am new to this whole astronomy stuff but that didn't stop me going a lil crazy lol.
celestron c8 about 20 years old from york optics (white colour tube)
Heq5pro
orion autoguider package from bintel
the imaging source db31 ccd camera
havn't payed for any software yet but have starry night orion special edition and also use eqmod.
I am having a lot of trouble setting this thing up for imaging, i am sure i dont have it aligned properly as i cant keep an image stable more than 1 sec.
I would pay someone to come to my house in ivanhoe and help me with all this stuff.

Your best bet is to join your local Astromony org. A wealth of information and helpful people
