Christmas Day Sun

I managed to capture this image of the sun just before a late lunch on Christmas Day. Captured with my SM40, ED80, B1200 and DMK 41AU02.AS on my NEQ6 controlled by EQMOD and Cartes du Ceil. Weather was deteriorating at the time of capture, I wanted to get more but the sucker holes were getting fewer and smaller, so the effort was abandoned after this.

The image is a masaic of two stacks, processed in Registax V5 and Photoshop CS3.

There are no official active regions on the disc, but there is an interesting prominence (LHS of frame) which I would've liked to explore more.
