Better late than never! View of the Moon rising above cloud that was hugging the horizon - taken from Clearspot Lookout near Bright, Victoria, with Canon 400D. Poor photographic return from what was a 'magical' event visually. It was a fantastic location, watching the rays of the setting Sun paint the ridges & spurs of the Vic alps orange, and seeing all the shades of blue of the darkening sky.
Sounded like a beautiful spot to view this partial eclipse Rob, and a great image.
Still disappointed I didnt get to see the totality up here, but there will be others.
