North Group ED127 Refractor

One of the ubiquitous "North Group" Refractors, from the equally well known Gilman. Bought to see if it would replace the "twitchy to collimate" 8inch f4 newt. It could, but won't so I am selling it.
Case has suffered a slight bow to one end, but is very serviceable.
Scope will come as supplied new: case, rings, with Vixen style rails, and illuminated finder and bracket, 1.25" eyepiece adaptor. Caps for all. The rails top and bottom shown in the image are not included.
We can discuss shipping with a 50/50 split most likely.
Picture is with an SXVF-H9 and Ha filter, just to try it. Shows definite potential. I also viewed Jupiter with it last night in mediocre seeing and was very impressed.
AU$1250.
If interested, shoot me a PM, all discussions off group please.
Gary

Would a reduction in price assist with this, or is it just not appealing?

Hi, Not sure what you are asking, I figured most knew where I was, plus it is part of my profile. Scope is in NZ.

Gary, I think he's saying because it is in NZ it's too difficult for Au members to consider buying with transport costs. Not that it has ever stopped me buying stuff in Au and bringing it across to NZ.
I'd like to buy but outside my budget and at present I'm a Dob man. One day maybe ...

God luck with it, looks a nice setup.

Gary,

I'll jump in you may need to reduce the price a bit as it's too close to what it can be had for directly from china although shipping is prob alot more from there. and to be honest i'd trust you more then something being shipped from china lol
