As a result of the recent rains in SE Qld, Moogerah Dam started overflowing last week. The last time this happened was March 1991, almost 20 years ago! I took a drive yesterday afternoon and captured these images. Thanks for looking.
Last time I was out there, it was almost completely empty. There was less than an acre of water surface. No fishing was allowed to stop them being killed off - talk about fish in a barrel
Spectacular, i remember it as a big mud puddle from school camps. There will be some cracker bass fishing in the creek next year from all the fish taking a wild ride down the spillway.
