Hi all
Setting up my Synscan. What is the best site on the web to get accurate latitude and longditude co-ordiantes

Hi Carl, Try Heavens Above or CalSky both give good results
Also Google earth

I just use one of my GPSs, but Geoscience Australia has a lookup:

http://www.ga.gov.au/place-name/

"Alans Flat" doesn't exist so you might need to use some official locality/river/mountain name that's nearby.
