Redback Spider

What a magnificent specimen I found in a mates shed today. His dog managed to flick it on me and I lost it for a while, but I found it again on the ground and continued the shoot unharmed.

Simply stunning creature!

Baz.

Hey Baz nice shooting mate, I remember very well these little critters.

I used to work in a carnation, cut flowers industry and there were heaps of the little buggers in the growth of the plants.

If you get them on the palm of your hand they will roll up in a ball, your hand is to tough to bite through, but a bite on the bum is is entirely a different matter

Leon, you should have quite an immunity yes? Did you ever get bitten by one?

Thanks Adam, If I had an old outback dunny, I would carry the spider to the seat and shoot it there.

No Barry, they really don't attack, so to speak, but i suppose if you sat on one it would fight back.
