The mystery surrounding the death of Tycho Brahe

Hi All,

I was alerted to this article by one of the members of the Sutherland Astronomical Society and it is an interesting short read speculating on the cause and nature of the demise of Tycho Brahe -- one of the last and probably the greatest of the pre-telescopic era astronomers.

Interesting article thanks for posting. As a Dane I have followed events related to Tycho Brahe quite closely over the years. I recall a school visit to the island of Hven and the ruins of his observatories, Uraniborg and Stjerneborg, which have now been partly restored and turned into a museum. If you are ever in the area then it's well worth a visit.

It would be good to see Harrison Ford as Tycho Brahe and John Malkovich as Johannes Kepler.....??? Michele Pfeiffer as the Danish Queen Sophie and Orlando Bloom (there you go ladies....) for the clairvoyant Jester...

I know the first two are getting on a bit so it would be hard to de-age them, but......remember the CGI / makeup used in Benjamin Button?

Anyone else have some other suggestions? Apart from the Cliches of Brad Pitt/Matt Damon/Tom Hanks cookie cutter blockbuster stars?

And consider yourselves warned....anyone who suggests George Clooney should seriously consider using the backspace key before posting....
