Hi all astro-lianos; being new to the forum and with no current astro images due to weather, here is an attempt of 103p Hartley 2 from the 3rd Nov. Skippy sky had one night clear out west and I was hungry for this Comet, so literally dropped everything, packed the gear, 3hr drive to Leyburn and went for it.
This Image was taken @ 1:42 aest, approx 36hrs prior closest approach of the EPOXI Spacecraft mission encounter, Hartley was near 45* alt, seeing was great, 8/10.
Scope: SW ED100 F/9 on the Heq5p mount,
Image: 400D, 900sec or 15mins, ICNR, WB A3, ISO 800, autoguided, Processed with PS3.
Large coma and a hint of tail toward 10:30 ! Hope you like .
