For Sale is the Baader BCF filter recently removed from my 40D in order for Central DS to put in their own brand needed for the cooling modification.
The Baader filter is unmarked and remains 'glued' into the holder which it sits in from the camera. This might make modding your 40D a bit easier as this holder can directly replace the one in the camera. Might mean that you wouldn't have to remove original filter then try to glue in new BCF filter I think - just a direct replacement of the holder/filter.
The BCF filter can be used in
1000D/400D/450D/500D/550D/40D/50D DSLRs.
Not too sure if the holder would fit anything but the 40D though?
Filter sells for about $90AU around the traps
