If, like some of us, you're using an Ipod/Ipad/Iphone for Astro applications NetPortal may be of some interest to you.
After trying several clumsy methods to access shared resources on my Laptop, PC and Dlink NAS, I came across NetPortal, which worked flawlessly and was easy to setup, requiring no additional drivers on any networked equipment.
Another app that may be of use when setting up your IP network and debugging is Network Ping Lite, a free ping app.
