volcanism and the sun

Hi all, I am just wondering if it makes sense to talk of volcanism on the sun?

http://sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov/

And if anyone goes to the above site and then to the what's new and free stuff link there is an intriguing download that will allow a great deal of interesting manipulation of the latest video from NASA on the sun.

No...entirely different processes occurring in a superhot, ionised gas. Nothing like terrestrial volcanism.
