Arrow Phillips ToUcam or Equivalent

Looking for a webcam for polar alignment with potential for planetary imaging.

Heard that a Phillips ToUcam would be ideal but no longer in production. Can anyone suggest an alternative or has something for sale that will do the job?

Thanks

Rayleigh

Michael,

thanks for the link. I have looked at both. That webcam looks like it will do the job. I have read a couple of reviews and some people have reported issues with software settings. I will probably give it a go after a bit more reading.
But Thanks

Rayleigh,
I can assure you there are no firmware issues with the flashed SPC900nc webcam camera.
If there are "software settings" issues it must be the limitations of the software. Have you considered WxAstroCapture or Craterlet or the K3CCD tools - they all work very well.

Just want to say thanks Ken I have ordered a phillips webcam as suggested. Thanks. I think the advice to "bite off as much as I can chew" is sound. Thanks also to others who sent relevant links.
