The Sun spews forth - 7 November

Hello all,

I managed a few AVI's today while dodging clouds. My target was the Solar Active Region 1121 - this region was looking like this on 17 October http://www.pbase.com/mattwastell/image/129487021
before it disappeared around the limb.

21 days later it is still putting on a show. I managed to capture a small eruption of material easily visible on image 2. The entire region brightened as the filament leaped from the surface. The eruption came and went in less than 20 minutes.

Well done on the capture, seen a couple myself over the years since taking up this type of imaging. Interesting to watch live. Looks to be an interesting spot worth some attention.
