Moonage 16th Oct

What a joy it was to be able to get outside again.
Here's the first moonage from my new camera.

Scope- ED80
2x Big Barlow
Canon 550d
30 subs stacked in Registax 5
ISO 400 1/125th sec exposures.
Processed in cs3, maybe a tad oversharpened, but worth it for the extra detail you can weedle out of the craters.
The imaged is resized 50%.

Jeanette - a pleasing shot. Did you use a filter of some sort?

Thanks for looking!

Looking good Jeanette, the new camera looks to be doing a fine job and don't think the image looks over sharpened at all.

Well done
Regards
Trevor

Great shot Jeanette. You've inspired me to have a go with my Canon7D.
