Hi Mr Mod & All,
Great topic, will be some excellent entries for this one. Just been to Hill End last weekend as it happens where almost every fence has "character". Got about ten images I could enter -- hard to narrow down to one entry.
Looking forward to it.
Best,
Les D

That shot took a bit of bravery it is in an industrial area with cars and trucks going by while I am laying on the center island needless to say I was concerned a few times.

Even though we still have a couple of days to go, I'd just like to onpass my regards and complements to everyone who has submitted, (or will submit), an entry for the photo challenge.
So far, I find every entry has been simply breathtaking and the creativity shown is just fantastic !
I have also really enjoyed getting out there and playing around with this stuff myself, for the very first time.
Thank you all for the privilege of participating and; for the experience of hanging with a bunch of awesomely talented photographers.
Cheers and best regards

I've never voted in this area, never really paid much attention to it, but I will vote this month!
By the way, how do you get your picture to display within your post rather than as an attachment?
Cheers

When you want to post an image, click on the paperclip icon in the toolbar above the text box, this will either open a pop-up or new tab, depending on your browser or settings. click on "Browse" to select your image from your computer/drive. Repeat the process on each dialogue (Max 8 images per post) then click "Upload". If the images are below the perscribed size the images will be available when you return to your post. Click on the down arrow next to the paperclip and sleect the image you want to post.
If this doesn't work maybe you have pop-ups disabled or your browser doesn't support it... i have IE at work (tabs) and Firefox at home (pop-up). I don't think I have heard anyone have problems with Safari or Chrome.
Hope this helps.
Tony

Thanks Tony, from memory that was the first or second morning after the big downpour. I have to agree there are some excellent images and a great subject choice.

Very clever Mariposa, but shouldn't the middle image be rotated 90 deg and flipped horizontally?
Good work.
