The iPhone has met its match

They say the iPhone is so easy to use, anyone can use it........ Well they hadnt countered on my mother-in-law.

Why is Apple sending me emails? Because you registered for iTunes.

What's my iTunes username and password? Whatever you set it too when you registered.

I keep setting the ring tone, but it always shows as silent! Thats becuase you keep turning the ringer button off. Oh is that what that little button was for.

Where did that email go, it was just on the screen a minute ago, some keeps deleting them on me. No, you just have to go back to the inbox screen.

Mother-in-law 1 - iPhone 0

I will keep you updated with the score.

I believe Steve (Kinetic) wrote the book on mothers in law? Might give you some insight and guidance.

I didnt need insight, I have 19 yrs experience. I said point blank to my wife, I will not help your mother if 1) she gets an iPhone 2) she gets a computer.

She has gotten off so many traffic infringements because it is just too hard for the police. The best one was doing a u-turn at night across double lines in front of an oncoming police car. No ticket issued. She talked them to death.

After 19 yrs, she still asks if i have milk and sugar in my tea. and she doesnt suffer from Alzhiemers.

No, but one time she left the lights on in her car and it drained the battery to the point automatic door locks wouldnt work. She rang to ask how she could open the car to open the bonnet, as the car wouldnt unlock.

Put the key in the lock and turn!

Ohhhhh!

Sometimes though, bad things just happen to her, like the time she went shopping and thieves broke into to her car to steal the ignition distributor from her old commodore. They left everything as normal so she couldnt figure out why the car wouldnt start. Rang NRMA, they came out and found the problem straight away.
