There are really stupid people out there

Ok the title of the post sounded alarming but don't worry no rediculous speed limit or controversial boat people thread here .

This has been posted here before but some time ago so I thought it was worth seeing again for those that may not have seen it before.

It is really hard to think this is not a joke

Mike

You are a real naughty boy Mike.

When I get up in the morning the Moon is going around the Earth. A bit later the Sun does the same thing. The stars and planets do the same. I am terribly sorry but your answer is totally wrong.

I just feel very sad that the education system has failed this person. I was taught the phases of the Moon in grade five! (1959)

I believe though the correct translation is: What 'orbits' the Earth?

I don't know, maybe the French nation just don't agree with the Polish, but 500 years is a bit long to be in denial.

Don't be so smug...

The earth and moon rotate around a comon centre of gravity, (barycentre), which happens to lie approx 3000km from the centre of the earth. So, technically, the moon does not rotate about the earth but around the common centre of gravity...

However, having said that... this little ditty is proof positive that the species is degenerating to the point of horror for anyone who has more that 3 functional brain cells!

Some people whine about teachers failing in their job, but most learning occurs in the home and if you choose "Dimsons" instead of "Attenbourough" for your children, this is the mindless moron you generate!

We should all be warned!

What a crack up. That put French education back to the dark ages. How funny was that?

Although this is sad, that this fellow did not the answer to a very easy question, however i bet if you went to any school of year nine students and asked them the same question, at least 50% would not have a clue.

1. Reality TV -- don't be surprised if this bs was all pre-planned;
2. The audience -- 50%-odd of them, decided to be smartarses and give the wrong answer.
