Asimov's 'WORST OF' astro-pics!

Sorry to Mike if this is in the wrong spot. (should this be in general chat?)

Here's 4 of many many many totally yucky shot's I've taken since getting into astrophotography.

Everyone has to start some where, right? This is for the guys/gals just starting out on this marvellous journey! I can't imagine anyone in this forum thinking any LESS of you if you post terrible shots like these!? To think back on how frustrated I was at the time of taking these!

I for one will congratulate you just for getting out there & having a go!!

Cheers!

Yeah, If theres any green in my shots you can bet it's taken with the refractor *sigh*

Iv'e gotten slightly better at centering lol. Although I have a lot of trouble keeping the target centered at times with the EQ5.

The 1st 3 shots using the 12.5" & kodak (before I even heard of stacking) the green mars with the refractor & toucam.

congratulations, I ttok the liberty of forwarding a few on to Astronony Magazine, they pay $50 US for astrophoto's they print. Like me though, you will be waiting a long time to collect the cheque!

But I must say, they are way better than mine!!!

Yep! I knew you would'nt be too put off with posting your worst Ken! I was watching your 'managing attachments' in this thread while I was viewing who's online, so I knew what you were upto lol.

Cheers! Oh, BTW this thread is the 'child' of this thread http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...ead.php?t=6722
