HDPE Gears from lenord Stage?

Hi,
Does anyone have any experience with the HDPE gears from Lenord Stage at

http://gototelescopes.com/gears.htm

Seem reasonable priced, just wondering about level of PE and smoothness of PE with a 12" drive?

cheers
Gary

Hi Gary,

I have a pair of 12 inch gears from Lenord. I haven't installed them yet. But two friends who are engineers looked at them and said they were well made. Several sites on the net report excellent results with them. Lenord is great to deal with. He was very accommodating and has been supplying gears for several years.

Rod.

Gary,
I've been dealing with Lenord over the past 8 or so years with various drive controller adaptations and he's on groups that I'm on.
Lenord doesn't mince words and says what he means, does what he says....

I have no experience with his gears however but if it says HDPE gears, then that's what you get.

He's good to deal with.. so you won't have any dramas.

Hope this helps with your decision.

Rich

Thanks guys,

have a very large mount that needs some gears to drive it. I'll probably go down the road of ordering from Lenord..

cheers
