First attempt at the sun with a LS152T

Hi all,
Just a had a go at imaging with my new solar scope. Visually the scope is awesome, but I have a way to go to get images that do it justice.

The seeing was not good since it was pretty hot before I got to try imaging, but AviStack seems to do a resonable job coping with it. Once I bother to read the manual, my processing should improve

These images are taken at 900 mm focal length (no barlow) with a Skynyx 2-1 camera.

Just found a shot with the proms and surface in the same exposure. A bit tricky to process the proms separately from the disk, but it is worth trying.

Just playing with AviStack now, and just taking the best 50 of 500 frames. It does help with the fine detail, though reducing it in size for the web loses a bit.

I enjoyed looking at that prominence that resembles a rocket, yesterday! Nice shots.
