Northern Highland Lunar mosaic

Last night I gave the DMK41 a run with the C14 and was pleasantly surprised with the results. While this is not to the standard I am aiming for; there is certainly potential. I really like the field of view of doing a lunar mosaic. I am now planning a run at Christmas time to get a full first quarter image of the moon.

Very impressive; it almost feels as though as though this was taken from lunar orbit

that's a sweet image of a not very familiar part of the moon. heck.. if you can pull that off across a whole first quarter moon that'll be one impressive shot! gotta do something when the moon's up though!

that is fantastic - do you guys actually have any atmosphere down there in south australia - from the looks of that its a lot thinner than the soup we have up here.

I can almost feel that powdery lunar dust looking at some of those mountains and plains

Amazing.
