You know how it goes...
Your sitting in the shed wondering what to do next and you think
“Wouldn't it be nice if I had a camera on the finderscope”.
So you grab the finderscope, measure the diameter of the lens and sure enough it's not a standard size. You curse at those engineering idiots for not using a standard size and you look around for something that might fit. This ..no, that..no,that..no and then you see a dirty discarded garden hose fitting. Hmmm, if I file down the threads on the inside it'll be a squeeze fit on the finders' lens...if I hack off the hose bit and drill the hole out a little and get a bucket load of araldite we might just make it. Bugger...can't get the camera close enough for prime focus...have to use the original crappy lens. Hey it works!!
It aint pretty but it sure saves me a bucket of time finding things!!!
Regards
Stephen
