Thumbs up Some Blue Mountains Waterfalls

Finally got around to processing the images of waterfalls I took during our holiday in the blue mountains.

I was disappointed that there just wasn't much water flowing.

All images taken with the 350D, stock 18-55 lens.
All long exposure images taken with a circular polariser and 6x ND filter stacked. Exposures usually between 4-10 seconds.
Processing usually involved some levels/curves adjustments for the darker ones, and an unsharp mask after web size reduction.

The first one is Katoomba Falls, taken while traversing the Scenic SkyWay.

The 2nd, 3rd and 4th are at a place called "Pool of Siloam", near Gordon Falls. A spectacular little hideaway spot. The kids loved playing around in the pool at the bottom of the falls.

The 5th-8th are of the Leura Cascades, at Leura. A very nice cascading creek that eventually plunges over the edge of the cliff. Again, disappointing that there wasn't much water flowing.

Comments welcome.

Beautiful photos Mike, so tranquile.
Love the first one with the colours thru the water.
Also the one with the sunburst, great effect.
They all look great and seems the filters really pay off.
Imagine if there was more water, the effect would be awesome.

looking good Mike - I too like the rainbow in the water effect - although the right side of the cliff is overexposed maybe coz of long exposure
cheers
