moon occultation

Saw only my second moon occultation of a star tonight at 21:23. My two daughters were watching its progress too. I've no idea what star it was, just lucky to be out with the scope tonight.

Thanks for the reply Andrew.
After going inside to post here a thought occurred to me. Could I see the star reemerge. Went out and thought how long would it take since half an hour had passed by then. Am I right? Say twenty eight days per orbit. Call it twenty four, 360 degrees so 15 degrees per day. Call it twelve then approx per day so 24 hours equals half a degree per hour which equals 1 moon diameters per hour w to E against the stars. Looked again waited but didn't see a star emerge. Saw a star two or three diameters under the moon and about the same brightness. Couldn't see any others because of the moon's veiling brightness nearby. Drew the stars I could see. Couldn't relate to a constellation, too bright to see much, though if carried the tail of the Crane down to the NW approx 30 degrees then the lower of the few stars i could see beneath the moon were there. I've got the go now got to find the star. This may impress the kids and amaze me. But I could fall flat on the kisser. Not for the first time.
