Done.

Did ours at BigW.
They have a facility were you donate while paying for your purchases so we added $20 for the fund.

I asked the checkout bloke if they are getting much this way and he looked glum, rolled his eyes and said "a lady gave $10 the other day"

Geez that's pathetic!!!!!!!!!!

Trevor iam going to do my bit for the appeal ,but i do so with reservation ,back when we had the earthquake appeal hear in newcastle alot of money was donated from all over australia most of the money was held in trust by the council and is still there today not spent on the people, and a lot lost in investments o/s,so i wonder how much acctually gets to the people who need it most and not caught up in the system of things.

this is very true, if you know of friends or family - or even IIS members who are good friends who have been hit hard then give them the financial help directly

Al we can only hope it ends up where it belongs

I usually don't give to these things for just that reason but a hell of a lot of people have been affected by this one and knowing a lot of IIS members live in QLD makes a difference
